Band saw FABTEC BS-260

- FABTEC BS-260 band saw machine is designed for cutting pipes and profiles at cutting angles: 90°; +45°; +60°;

- On machines with hydraulic unloading, the cutting process (starting the saw - lowering the frame - stopping the saw) is automatic thanks to the hydraulic system. The lifting of the frame is done manually by the operator. The FABTEC BS260 can cut workpieces up to 227 mm in diameter;

- The blade is precisely guided in the cutting zone by two guide heads. The machine, with the possibility to rotate the saw body from 0° to +60°, is designed for sawing workpieces, at various angles and with frequent changes of the saw angle;

- The saw is lowered under its own weight, the machine is equipped with a throttled hydraulic cylinder that allows automatic adjustment of the saw frame lowering speed depending on the profile of the workpiece, which ensures optimal cutting modes;

- With this model, which has a quick-adjustable vise for angle cutting, the frame is rotated, not the workpiece. The vise with quick release system speeds up the workpiece changing process (the quick release of the movable jaw takes place without turning the handwheel). The workpiece is clamped manually by the vise and the workpiece is fed in manually. Availability of coolant system as standard allows to achieve high productivity.
